ENFIELD, Conn. (CBS Connecticut) — A 17-year-old claims God would have punished him if he didn’t perform sexual acts on a younger boy.
The Associated Press reports that the Enfield teenager, Cesar Molina, sexually abused the boy over the course of five years.
The victim allegedly told police that Cesar repeatedly threatened to throw him out of a window if he tried to resist his advances. Cesar also allegedly told the victim that God would punish him if he refused to cooperate.
According to the website for the State of Connecticut’s Judicial Branch, Cesar was arrested on Sept. 29 and was charged with one count each of first-degree sexual assault and illegal sexual contact. Both are considered Class B felonies.
Due to the severity of the charges, the case has been transferred from juvenile court to adult court.
The Enfield Police Department declined to comment further, as the warrant has been sealed pending further investigation and court proceedings.
Cesar is reportedly free on a $150,000 bail. His next court date will take place Dec. 9.
