UNDATED (AP) _ Ohio State’s Jared Sullinger is a unanimous pick to The Associated Press’ preseason All-American team this season.
The 6-foot-9 Sullinger was a first-team All-American last season as a freshman. He averaged 17.2 points and 10.2 rebounds in leading the Buckeyes to a No. 1 ranking.
North Carolina’s Harrison Barnes was named on 63 of 65 ballots a year after becoming the first freshman to ever make the AP preseason team. Barnes is joined on this year’s squad by fellow sophomores Terrence Jones of Kentucky with 34 votes and Jeremy Lamb of Connecticut with 25.
Senior guard Jordan Taylor of Wisconsin received 52 votes. He was a second-team All-America last season.
