Basketball Husky Has Fractured Ankle

The University of Connecticut says redshirt freshman forward Michael Bradley has a fractured right ankle and will require surgery.

The operation later this week will be followed by six weeks of rehabilition,  keeping him out of action until early December.

Bradley,  who is from Chattanooga, Tennessee, plays center/forward for the Huskies.  He made news in recent weeks when he gave up his athletic scholarship to make a spot on the team for center Andre Drummond.
