Police Investigate Bank Bomb Threats

State Police say their investigation into telephone bomb threats at bank branches has led them to security video of a possible suspect in the case.

Police say the calls were made to First Niagara Banks in Coventry and Mansfield,  threatening that an explosion would take place.  No explosives were found at either location.

Information in the case led State Police and Coventry police to video of a woman they’d like to question in the case.  They are looking for information about the identity of the woman in the pictures,  described as a white woman with a pony tail, wearing a light colored top.  They say she may be driving a green SUV.

Anyone with information about the woman is asked to call State Police at Troop C in Tolland, (860) 896-32oo or the tips line at (860)896-3237.
