HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) _ Two Quinnipiac University basketball players have been arrested following a fight on campus.

Hamden police say 20-year-old Ike Azotam of Boston and 21-year-old James Johnson of Laurelton, N.Y., struck other students who were trying to break up the fight. At least two students received treatment for injuries after being hit in the face.

Police arrived at the scene around 3 a.m. on Sunday.

Authorities said Tuesday that both students were charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace and released on $5,000 bond.

There was no answer at Azotam’s residence and no phone number was listed for Johnson.
