THOMASTON, Conn. (AP) _ An oil tanker has overturned on Route 8 North in Thomaston, spilling fuel and forcing the shutdown of the northbound section between exits 39 and 41.
The Republican-American of Waterbury reports (http://bit.ly/nDJU4d ) that the state hazardous materials response team was called in Monday to clean up.
The state Department of Transportation says cleanup can take up to 12 hours.
