Manchester Cops Seek Suspect in Xtra Mart Heist

Manchester Police are seeking the public’s help in finding the man who held up the Xtra Mart convenience store on Buckland Street at gunpoint early Tuesday.

Around 2:24 a.m., police say the suspect, wearing a red and white plaid jacket, light colored pants, white sneakers, and a camouflage hunting hood, confronted the 24-year-old clerk with a revolver and ordered him to open the cash drawer.

Police say the suspect told the clerk to put money into a blue lunch type bag with a silver lining, and then ordered him to get down on the floor.

The suspect then fled with the money.

Anyone with information on the heist is urged to call Manchester Police at 860-645-5510.
