180 Pot Plants Found In Monroe

State Police say they found 180 marijuana plants, 2-and-a-half pounds of pot, and a half a pound of hallucinogenic mushrooms.

When police arrived, they say 27-year-old Curt Porell admitted that he had ‘a few’ marijuana plants in the basement.

Investigators also say $11,000 in cash was discovered in the Spinning Wheel Road home, along with marijuana growing equipment and packaging material.

A second resident of the home, Kimberly Finocchio was arrested on similar charges.

State Police issued a press release on the investigation.

The two are accused of operating a drug factory, cultivating marijuana, and possession of the drug with intent to sell.
