HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut State Police say a second inmate is in custody after turning himself in a day after escaping a halfway house in Hartford.
Police said Sunday that 27-year-old Dajuan Hill turned himself in to state police. Earlier Sunday, state police said 35-year-old Omar Hernandez was captured without incident. No details were provided in either case.
Hill and Hernandez escaped with three other inmates from Stillman Halfway House. Authorities were notified at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police are still looking for 21-year-old Tory Keith, 22-year-old Luis Padua and 32-year-old Willie Hughes. Four of the men were convicted on drug charges, while Hill was convicted on burglary charges.
Anyone with information about the inmates is asked to call local or state police at 860-534-1000. Police say all calls will be kept confidential.
