Five Escape Halfway House

HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut State Police say five inmates have escaped from a halfway house in Hartford.
Police say they were notified at around 12:30 a.m. Saturday that the men were missing from the Stillman Halfway House.

Police have identified the inmates as 35-year-old Omar Hernandez, 21-year-old Tory Keith, 22-year-old Luis Padua, 32-year-old Willie Hughes, and 27-year-old Dajuan Hill.

Four of the men were convicted on drug charges, while Hill was convicted on burglary charges.

Anyone with information about the inmates is asked to call local or state police at 860-534-1000. Police say all calls will be kept confidential.
