Second Restaurant Found With Hidden Camera

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ West Hartford police say a restaurant manager has found a hidden video camera in its bathroom, and they are investigating whether it is connected to a similar incident at a nearby Starbucks.

Police tell the Hartford Courant that the manager of Cosi in West Hartford Center found a camera attached to the bottom of a bathroom sink Tuesday evening.

The manager checked the bathroom after news reports about 51-year-old Paul Deveau of Hartford, who is charged with voyeurism after allegedly setting up a sound-activated video camera in a local Starbucks bathroom. He is due to appearAug. 11 in Hartford Superior Court.

Police do not know if Deveau was connected to the camera at Cosi, and he has not been charged in connection with it.

Messages left at Deveau’s home have not been returned.
