The 2011-2012  schedule for the National Champion UConn basketball Huskies will include 14 non-conference games,  including two exhibitions.  Ten of the non-conference games will be home games, either at Gampel Pavilion or Hartford’s XL Center.

Three of the four non-conference road games will be as part of the “Battle 4 Atlantis” held at Paradise Island, Bahamas,  November 24-26.  The other teams in the field are Harvard, Florida State, Utah, UMass, Central Florida, the College of Charleston and UNC-Asheville, though the exact team match-ups have not been decided.

Four straight non-conference games will open the season, starting with Columbia, followed by Wagner, Maine and Coppin State.

UConn will host Arkansas for the annual Big East/SEC Challenge in December.  And the final non-conference game of the regular season will be at Tennessee,  against the Volunteers.
