Vandalism, Theft At Connecticut Trolley Museum

Vandals struck at the Connecticut Trolley Museum in East Windsor early Saturday, smashing windows and stealing cash and items from the gift shop, said museum officials.

Damage and theft totals more than $4,000, a museum official told WTIC News Saturday morning.

“It’s really difficult because we’re not in the best of financial times with what’s going on the with the economy,” said Timothy Lesniak, the museum’s corporate secretary.

East Windsor Police are investigating.
