New Logo for CCSU to be Unveiled

Central Connecticut State University’s logo is getting an overhaul.

CCSU officials say a new Blue Devils brand and logo is almost ready to be unveiled. They did not offer hints, but said more than 100 people helped develop the new look with their suggestions.

The updated Blue Devil design will be introduced at 1 p.m. on Aug. 10 in Kaiser Hall, and gear with the new design will be available at the school bookstore starting that day.

Central has about 12,500 students and is the largest of the four schools in the Connecticut State University System.

Paul Schlickmann, Central’s director of athletics, says he expects the unveiling to be exciting and that they want to share the experience with the entire campus at the official launch ceremony.
