The search for a 19-year-old swimmer who disappeared in Lake Congamond has turned into a recovery effort.
Authorities say there will be no public access to the lake which straddles the Connecticut-Massachusetts state line as they search for the body on Tuesday.
The man went under Monday afternoon while swimming off a pontoon boat on the Connecticut side of the lake in an area known as Mill Pond near Suffield.
A dive team from Southwick, Mass. is leading the search effort. They looked for four hours Monday night before suspending efforts for the night.
