BLOOMFIELD, Conn. (AP) _ Cigna says it’s changing the location
of its corporate headquarters from Philadelphia to Connecticut, and
the state is providing a $50 million package of tax credits and
other incentives in exchange for new jobs it’s adding.

The health service and financial company announced Tuesday the
company plans to add at least 200 jobs in Connecticut within the
next two years, increasing its employment in the state to more than
4,000 workers.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy was making an official announcement
Tuesday at a news conference in the Hartford suburb of Bloomfield.

The company’s corporate headquarters has been in Philadelphia
since 1982.
Cigna says the headquarters change to Bloomfield, where the
company already has corporate offices, won’t affect its operations
in Philadelphia.
