Police: Pedestrian Killed By Vehicle In Bloomfield

Bloomfield Police say a woman was killed Tuesday morning when she was trying to cross Blue Hills Avenue and she was struck by a southbound vehicle, which bypassed another vehicle which had stopped.

The crash occurred around 8 a.m. in the area of Rockwell Avenue, said authorities. The investigation is ongoing and so far no charges have been filed.

The identities of the victim and the driver have not yet been released.
