Simsbury Teen Mourned

A Simsbury High School senior was killed in a crash that also sent three others to the hospital.   The single-car crash happened on Old Meadows Plains Road around 1 A. M. Sunday.

All four people were hospitalized, but friends and Simsbury’s school superintendent say 17-year old Tommy Tanski later died from his injuries.

Friends put up a sign outside Simsbury High School that read “Rest In Peace Tommy–Forever Loved.”

Simsbury police and a regional accident reconstruction team are investigating the cause of the crash.
