Baltic Man Arrested In Coventry Bank Heist

Coventry Police have arrested a 51-year-old man in connection with a May 11th robbery at the Rockville Bank on Boston Turnpike in Coventry.

David Burgess of the Baltic section of Sprague is charged with third-degree robbery and third-degree larceny in connection with the heist. Police say the arrest stems from a lengthy investigation in which Coventry Police and Connecticut State Police are jointly looking into several area bank robberies over the last six months.

Burgess is free on $25,000 bond and due in Rockville Superior Court on July 5.
