Sentencing In Sex Trafficking Case
A 31-year-old New Britain man charged with sex trafficking of minors has been sentenced to more than 25 years in federal prison. Jarell Sanderson had faced ten years to life in prison after pleading guilty to two counts of trafficking of children and one count of conspiracy in connection with the recruiting and exploitation of two 14-year-old girls to act as prostitute.
An additional hearing will be heard to determine the amount of restitution Sanderson must pay her victims.
Sentencing is scheduled for later this month for Hassanah Delia, who authorities say operated the ring with Sanderson .
