Bristol Man Killed In Early Morning Crash

Bristol Police say a local man was killed in a one-vehicle crash on Redstone Hill Road early Monday.

Around 2 a.m., police Stephen M. Fetko Jr., 21, of Candy Lane was driving a 2004 Nissan Altima which crossed the center line, went off the south side of the roadway, and slammed into a large tree in the yard of 768 Redstone Hill Road.

Police say Fetko was rushed to Bristol Hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The accident remains under investigation and anyone with information on the case is urged to call Officer Brad Schaffrick of the Bristol Police Traffic Division at 860-584-3035.
