HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut coach Jim Calhoun is
preparing for a charity bicycle ride and a trip to the Caribbean,
but says he’s not ready to decide on his future past that.

Calhoun talked to reporters Thursday to promote his annual Jim
Calhoun Cancer Challenge Ride and Walk, which will be held June 11
in Simsbury.
He said he is letting a decision about retirement “evolve” and
is not setting a deadline for himself.

He plans to head on vacation with his family in July to the
Caribbean, and then if he decides to make a decision to retire,
he’ll make it. He says until then, it’s business as usual.

Calhoun led the Huskies to the Big East tournament and national
championships last spring.
