Larson Talks Medicare With Seniors

More than 40 senior citizens turned-out for a town hall-style meeting in West Hartford Friday to show their disapproval of a U-S House aprroved budget bill that would, among other things, privatize Medicare.

First District Congressman John Larson, who hosted the event at the West Hartford Senior Center, says the measure will likely die in the Senate but needs to be taken seriously now that it’s “down on paper”.

Republican supporters say the measure will help save the elderly’s health care safety net and provide them with more choices
