Municipal Elections Today In Some Towns

Today is election day for residents of some Connecticut communities.

Polls open at 6 a.m. and will remain open until 8 p.m. for residents of those communities which hold their municipal elections in May.

Voting is scheduled today in Andover, Bethany, Naugatuck, Union, Woodbridge, Litchfield, Naugatuck, Newtown, Stonington, Bantam, Danielson, Fenwick, Jewett City, Woodmont and the City of Groton. They’ll be chosing from candidates for mayor or first selectman,  as well as other offices.

Most Connecticut towns vote for municipal candiidates on November 8th.  with primaries in September.
