Rally To Fight Racism At Trinity

Trinity College students are planning a rally to show unity in the face of several racially motivated incidents on campus recently.

The latest incident occured on Friday when a student had a beer can thrown at him and was called a racial slur.

Its the third such incident in the past six weeks.   In other cases, offensive slurs were left on two dorm room doors.

Students wearing black to show unity are planning a rally Tuesday outside Mather Hall.

Dean of Students Frederick Alford says the college is doing everything it can to fight racism and members of the administration are expected to attend the rally.
