Manchester police say a New Britain man and two Hartford men are held in lieu of a million dollars bond each after breaking into an apartment where three children were home sleeping. A neighbor who heard the commotion called police.
Police say when they arrived, they found the three suspects in a hallway, and three children, ages 11, 12 and 14 who live in the apartment in a rear bedroom. One of the three was taken to a hospital after reporting being struck on the head by one of the suspects,
Police arrested 24-year-old Joel Collazzo of New Britain and 28-year-old Orlayn Marquez and 22-year-old Raul Rivera, both of Hartford. All are charged with burglary, home invasion, kidnapping, assault, criminal mischief, breach of peace, larceny and risk of injury to a minor
