Irate Taxpayer Charged With Threatening

Shelton police say a 51-year-old man faces charges of threatening and breach of peace after an incident at Shelton City Hall this week.

Police say Angel Loyola of Ridge Lane is due in court later this month.

Employees at City Hall say Loyola became upset during a discussion with workers in the Assessor’s Office.  Employees say he mentioned getting a gun and shooting everyone, though police say Loyala denied any threats and said his comment was taken out of context.
