Student Faces Threatening Charge

Vernon Police say a Rockville High School student was arrested today for making a threat.  The parent of a student filed the complaint after the youngster reported hearing it from another student.  According to police, the 15-year-old apparently implied on Facebook that he’d either shoot or stab a student with whom he had a dispute at the school.

Officers went to the youngster’s house.  They found no weapon and say no one in the school was in any danger.  the boy was released to his mother after being charged with threatening and breach of peace.  Police are not releasing his name because he is a minor.
