Malloy Road Show Continues In Meriden

Governor Malloy continued his town-hall tour of Connecticut as he continues to pitch his budget and tax plan.

The latest stop was Lincoln Middle School in Meriden, where hundreds packed the auditorium to hear Malloy’s plan and to offer criticism.

With $1.5 billion in new taxes, cuts in state services and state employee givebacks, there is something for everyone not to like.    But Malloy remained firm and said it was the best way to balance a budget that is more than $3 billion in the red.
