Traffic was light because of  the President’s Day holiday,  but spin-outs and minor accidents slowed drivers  in some areas as  yet another snowstorm hit Connecticut in the early morning hours Monday,  just in time for the morning commute.  Some of the schools which had planned on opening on the holiday announced cancellation of classes because of the weather.

The WTIC Fox Connecticut Weather Center reports most parts of the state recorded one to three inches of accumulated snow,  with clearing conditions expected by afternoon.
