A Former East Windsor Car Dealer Arrested

East Windsor Police  have charged  49 year old David Bishop of Southwick, Massachusetts after a  year-long investigation into  approxiamately 50 complaints  from customers.The allegations included customers not receiving their vehicles after purchase,not getting a title after taking delievery of their vehicle,purchasing the same vehicle  that Bishop had  sold more than once and leaving the dealer lot with a stolen license plate  given to them by Bishop.

The  Department of Motor Vehicles  did a suprise inspection of XTreme Performance, on South Main Street in East Windsor in December of 2009 in response to the complaints.The business never reopened.

Bishop is charged with Corrupt Organization and Racketeering Activity,four counts of Larceny,18  counts of Failure  to Deliver  A  Certificate of Title and 17 counts of Failure to Disclose  a Security Interest in a Used Motor Vehicle.Each offense is a  felony.Bishop was released on $140,000 bond.
