Warehouse Evacuated at UConn Health Center

Officials at the UConn Health Center in Farmington say ten workers were evacuated from a warehouse on the lower campus Wednesday morning after some sprinkler heads in the ceiling appeared lower than they should be. The discovery was made by a contractor around 8 a.m., said a health center spokesman.

A structural engineer has been called in to review and assess the building, which was expected to remain evacuated as a precaution at least into the afternoon.
