Teen Bicyclist Struck, Killed In New Haven

New Haven Police are seeking witnesses to a crash early Saturday morning which left a teenager on a bicycle dead. Police say the 14-year-old boy was struck by a vehicle around 12:14 a.m. on Front Street heading toward Grand Avenue.

Police say a black four-door vehicle struck the youngster while crossing a lane which had been narrowed by the snow.

The victim was pronounced dead about a half hour later at the emergency room at Yale-New Haven Hospital. His name was not immediately released.
