A $25,000 reward has been posted in a Connecticut cold case murder dating back almost five years. State police announced the reward for information leading to arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the murder of 40-year-old Anthony Hamlin of Groton.
Hamlin’s body was found in a vacant field on Shewville Road in Ledyard January 28, 2006. Cause of death was listed as head trauma.
Police said at the time that Hamlin had last been seen the night before his body was found, in the area of State Street and Bank Street in New London.
