As he prepares to take office next month,  Governor-elect Dan Malloy says he’s launching a national search for commissioners for four state agencies.  Those are the Department of Transportation,  the Department of Education,  the Department of Social Services and the Department of Environmental Protection.

He says that doesn’t mean that he’s ruling out in-state candidates,   only that he is widening the search.  And he repeated his previous statement that he’s not rushing the selection process only to have someone named by his inauguration Jan. 5.

  1. Tolland says:

A current employee of the DOT, Dale Ethier would be my choice. He knows the ins and outs and what needs to be done to get the job(s) done, on time and not waste Connecticut taxpayer’s hard earned money.
