LEVERETT, Mass. (AP) _ The Federal Aviation Administration says a small plane has crashed in woods in western Massachusetts, killing one person.
FAA spokeswoman Holly Baker says another person aboard the Cessna registered to a Ronkonkoma, N.Y., company was seriously injured in the crash Sunday in Leverett. She says two others had minor injuries.
The Republican of Springfield reported that state police in Northampton, Mass., said the plane hit power lines.
No other details were immediately available.
The FAA is investigating.
The National Transportation Safety Board will be on the scene Monday.
