Coventry police say they believe they’ve cracked a string of recent 7-11 convenience store robberies, following a heist at a store on Route 44 in Coventry Friday.  Police say they arrested 53-year-old David Williams-Saucier at the scene and caught up with 35-year-old Denny Burns about three hours later in Vernon.

Police say the two,  who both have lengthy criminal histories,  both live in East Hartford. They are suspects in a string of similar heists recently.  In at least some of the robberies,  a machete was shown.
