A 24-year-old Rockville  man is under arrest on charges that he assaulted an 11-week-old child in his care  in August. Jeremiah Boucher was arrested y at his place of work on charges of assault, risk of injury, and cruelty to persons.  Police say the child was taken to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center with injuries that included a fractured skull, 15 fractured ribs, and brain hemorrhaging.

The baby has since left the hospital and is in foster care.  Police say additional arrests are expected.
