Four Hartford Men, Three New Yorkers Indicted on Heroin Charges

Federal prosecutors say seven men are named in a heroin trafficking indictment stemming from last week’s seizure of more than five kilograms of heroin at an apartment on Grandview Terrace in Hartford.  They say that’s enough to produce more than a quarter milliion single-unit bags of heroin.

Three of those named in the indictment are from Brooklyn, New York.  Also charged with conspiracy to distribute heroin and possess with intent to distribute more than a kilogram of heroin are 39-year-old Mariano Reyes Ramirez of Grandview Terrace, 29-year-old Ambioris Cruz of Bonner Street and 50-year-old Tomas Ocasio of Park Street.

34-year-old Miguel Suazo of Broad Street is charged with maintaining a drug-involved premises.
