Winter Storm Warnings Overnight Into Wednesday: Litchfield, Hartford, Tolland, Windham Counties Read More

C&S discuss the state’s education achievement gap with the Chairman of the Connecticut Commission on Educational Achievement, Steve Simmons.

  1. CT Listener says:

You just said that the Tea Party would save CT, and then asked where is the party to keep taxes low and leave us alone. This is a big contradiction on your part. The Tea Party and right wing want to increase the deficit by giving a big tax handout to the megarich. They also don’t want to “leave us alone”, they want religion in schools, they want government to stop a woman’s choice concerning abortion.

I am new to CT and its progressive tradition is one of the best things about it. If you want it to go the way of a failed state like Arizona, then go Tea Party-right wing.
