Hartford Police say they seized more than a quarter million dollars worth of drugs in a raid at “stash houses” on Bonner Street and Gilman Street this week. Detectives say after receiving information that the location was being used to store narcotics, they obtained a search and seizure warrant for 36 Bonner.
Police say they seized 1,677 bags of packaged heroin and 206 grams of raw heroin, plus cash, packaging materials, scales, sifters and grinders. They also learned of the Gilman Street location. Police say when they went there, they found an additional 808 grams of raw unpackaged heroin,. plus nearly $23,000 cash.
Police arrested 37-year-old Julio Ramos of the Bonner Street address and 20-year-old
Adalis Delgado of Allen Place on a variety of drug charges.
Assistant Chief Brian Heavren said the seizure of that much heroin “will certainly affect the drug trade in Hartford.”
