Teens Accused of Firing Shotgun at Occupied Home

STAMFORD, Conn. (AP) _ Connecticut police say they arrested three Stamford teenagers after a car chase on charges they fired a shotgun at a city home occupied by several adults and children. No one was injured.

Stamford authorities say the teens shot at the home on Pequot Drive late Wednesday night, as part of an apparent rivalry between neighborhood groups.

Police later tried to stop the teens’ car for motor vehicle violations, but the driver sped away. The chase ended when the car crashed into an apartment building.

Police charged three 19-year-olds, Jeannerva Louissaint, Erick Gonzalez and Ricky Correa, with attempted assault and other crimes.

Lawyers say Louissaint wasn’t the shooter and the allegations are “out of character” for Gonzalez. Police say Correa is hospitalized with car accident injuries.
