WATERBURY, Conn. (AP) – Connecticut state police say they’ve charged a Harwinton woman with manslaughter and drug crimes in connection with the drug-related death of a 26-year-old man last year.
Troopers say they arrested 46-year-old Lorraine Shank at a home in Waterbury on Wednesday night.
She was held on $50,000 bail on charges of second-degree manslaughter, sale of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, and was to appear in Bantam Superior Court on Thursday.
State police say Michael Young died of drug toxicity at Shank’s home in Harwinton on Sept. 19, 2009.
