Teens Arrested in Pellet Shooting

Branford Police have arrested three teenagers after responding to a report  of plastic pellets being fired at runners  at East Main and North Main Streets about 4:30 Friday afternoon.Two runners gave police a description of the vehicle and Police   located it about a mile away and made the arrests.Police seized  numerous plastic pellet and paintball guns along with ammunition.

19 year old Andre Lefrancois of East Haven,17 year old Eric Desruisseaux  of  North Branford and 18 year old  Brandon Caprio of East Haven face  charges charges including Breach of Peace ,Weapons in a Motor Vehicle,Assault and Reckless Endangerment.All three are being held on  $5,000 bond.

Police say Lafrancois  is a suspect in a similar incident earlier in the  week and more arrests are expected  in connection with that investigation.

    $5,000.00 bond! Are you kidding me?!? For God’s sake it’s a felony in this state for shooting a stinking cat and these guys are out on $5,000.00 ea.! You can bet you’ll never find me in Branford.
