State Police Charge an Enfield Man in Troopers Death

 A week long investigation of  a September  crash in Interstate 91 in Enfield  has led to the arrest of 32 year old Michael Pajak of Enfield.Police say Pajak was driving the pickup truck which slammed into Trooper Kenneth Hall’s cruiser on the northbound side of the highway as he wrote out paperwork  during a traffic stop.

As  Connecticut State Police began to  look  for Pajak,they  learned he was in Williston,Vermont.Vermont State Police  were notified and located Pajak and took him into custody.He is being held on a Fugitive Fron Justice Warrant and will be arraigned in Vermont to determine when he will be returned to Connecticut.

Pajak will be charged with two counts of Manslaughter with a motor vehicle,Misconduct with a motor vehicle, Assault with a motor vehicle and Driving under the influence.He will be held on a million dollar bond  pending his arraignment in  Enfield Superior Court.
